Organizing Team Responsibilities: Effective management of your team's schedule requires a well-defined hierarchy of roles and permissions.
It is crucial to have a clear understanding of who can access specific scheduling features and make changes in order to ensure smooth operations. The Roles and Permissions feature in Schedule Pop guarantees that individuals are only granted access to the scheduling information and actions that are relevant to their role. This helps to minimize errors and confusion, making the scheduling process more efficient and effective.
Key Role Differentiations:
Staff: This role is for the default level staff position, granting access only to their own schedule.
Schedulers: Schedulers have permission to make changes, additions, or deletions to the schedule.
Budget Managers: This role allows individuals to make changes, additions, or deletions to the schedule, as well as view and manage budget information.
Location Administrators: Location Administrators are considered super users, with comprehensive access to the schedule. They have the ability to assign manager roles, make location setting changes, adjust templates, and inactivate employees.
Assigning Roles and Permissions:
To assign roles and permissions, follow these steps:
Click the Users icon in the Dashboard.
Access a user’s profile.
Click the Roles & Permissions tab.

Changes are auto-saved, so you can proceed to the next employee. Roles and permissions can be modified at any time.
